News Letter - November 2011 Season

A year of many highlights for our guests as they shared some great times with us, taking some beautiful trophies. Yet some great disappointment for us here at TGS loosing Tom and Arno both in the same year.
We had to get back to doing most of the groundwork ourselves and it all kept us very busy. So the one thing that suffered under this was my communications with clients through newsletters. This was non existent during the season. I just couldn’t find the time and energy to get this done. Now that the season is gone by and we are busy with all the maintenance at SRH (Sand River Hills), working on our 2012 brochure ……. It is hard for me and Amanda to believe we are almost celebrating Christmas once again!
The first summer rains came mid October and one could almost hear the trees and grass growing out there! It is a beautiful time of the year seeing God’s wonderful nature putting life back into a skeleton body of trees and dry savannah. Suddenly the bush flourished and babies start will start appearing everywhere, what a sight!
I need to thank all our 2011 season clients for such great support in tuff times in the world economy. Yet their love for Africa found a way to support us and at the same time we tried our very best and committed to make their safari a great success. Our 2012 brochure which we will be bringing to the states in January will reflect the great trophies taken in 2011 season.
Amanda’s Ivory Spa officially opened its doors this year and it is a great addition to both our hunters and observers who made use of it.
For those who missed my usual quarterly newsletter which was not done this year, this one will not make up for it as I will not be able to capture everything in such a short note. Amanda has posted all the safari photos on our FB (FaceBook) page under Trophy Game Safaris. Go and view them! Also become a fan of TG Safaris on our page!
Don’t forget that there are only a few spots open in the 2012 season and this is the ideal time to still contact us for a quote on that special safari.

We look forward meeting up with everyone states side and we will be mailing everyone more details on get togethers that are planed through our travels shortly. Feel free to make more suggestions!
