Redcliff Zambezi Lodge:
Redcliff Zambezi Lodge is situated on the Zambezi River in the lower Zambezi Valley, just south of the Lower Zambezi National Park.
The lodge was completed in 1999 and takes its name from the magnificent red cliffs of Kanyemba, where it is situated.
The Lodge provides:
- 4 Double chalets (2 beds) and 2 family chalets (4 beds) with en-suite facilities.
- Mosquito nets.
- Verandahs.
- Furnished with Rhodesian Teak and high quality bedding.
Attractions:
The world famous tiger fish is by far the main attraction of the valley. Our location is in the fortunate position of being able to offer a variety of fresh water fish including Breams, Cornish Jacks, etc. The lodge supports a catch and release policy, however consideration will be made for trophies or special fish dinners.
Access:
Access to the lodge is by boat only from Luangwa border post. Luangwa can be reached from Lusaka by charter plane or road.
Activities:
The lodge offers an eco-african experience which includes the following: Fly fishing, tiger fishing, Game viewing by boat and walking safaris, Bird watching, Stargazing (April to December) Walks or relaxing on your verandah, historical and cultural tours.
